Education Council

We want our curriculum to be gospel-centric and believe that a council of Christians who are passionate about education is the best means to  fulfill this.  We have formed an Education Council that reports to the Elders at Exodus Church to develop our pedagogy at Saint Boniface.  This team will outline the academic program for each learning level as well as providing oversight for teachers and faculty development.

Kyle Waters - Head of School

Kyle Waters, a native of Alabama, has lived in the Wichita area since 2007. After High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps and is a Troy University graduate (Troy, AL). Additionally, he has done graduate work at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He has taught History, Government, Bible, and Logic during his 17-year teaching career and has coached football in middle and High School.

Mr. Waters has been married to his wife Amber since 2003 and they have four children: Wes, Shelby, Hunter, and Jaelyn. He has also been an Elder at Exodus Church since 2019. He believes that education is discipleship. How we educate God’s covenant children is important because it has a temporal and eternal impact. We are to train children in Biblical wisdom and discernment so that they may love God and the world He created, and be joyfully grateful for the blessings that the Father has given them; displaying this joy and gratefulness to all that they encounter.

“Without education, we are in a horrible and deadly danger of taking educated people seriously.”     ― G.K. Chesterton

Amanda Jolly - Primary Teacher

Amanda was born and raised in the Wichita area and has always called Kansas home.  She studied Business Administration at WSU, and after years of working in the banking industry received a second degree in Elementary Education and taught in Wichita Public Schools.  In 2016, Amanda left teaching to pursue a career in full-time ministry, helping plant Exodus Church as their Children’s Director and serving as the Director of their Classical Christian Co-op.  Amanda is excited to return to the classroom, bringing her talents and passion for Classical Christian Education to Saint Boniface Academy.  Amanda and her husband, Jason, met at church and enjoy adventuring in God’s creation, singing and playing music together, and spoiling their Pitbull, Pepper.

Anna Voth - Upper Primary Teacher

Anna holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has spent the past five years homeschooling her two children, where she cultivated a love for personalized learning and growth. With a passion for education and a deep conviction of faith in Jesus, she is excited to begin a new chapter in her career teaching Upper Primary at Saint Boniface Academy. Her approach to teaching is rooted in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, resilience, and a love of learning.

Only by God’s richest grace has Anna been happily married to her husband for nearly 18 years. In their free time, the two of them can be seen sitting together on their front porch or playing board games as a family. She is a native Wichitian with a curiously strong affection and devotion to her home state.

“The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation.” Ps 18:46

She enjoys getting to know each student and feels honored to be partnering with families to train their children in the knowledge of the Lord. In her free time, she enjoys taking her children on adventures, reading historical fiction, and creative writing.

Rebekah Bailey - Secondary Prep & Secondary Mathematics, Music Teacher

Rebekah Bailey has taught secondary mathematics for over a decade in public, private, and Classical schools, while also bringing a rich background in music and the performing arts. She began her college studies as a music and dance major before earning her degree in Mathematics from Wichita State University. She has continued to choreograph musicals and coach dance teams throughout her teaching career. Rebekah and her high school sweetheart, Mark, have been married since 2006. They consider it a great blessing to raise their two children, Cooper Joy and Luke, within the SBA community. They are also deeply rooted in the community at Exodus Church, where both Rebekah and Mark play in the worship band. Rebekah sees both math and music as beautiful reflections of God’s order and creativity and is grateful for the opportunity to lead students in exploring both as acts of worship.

Cassie Ehrsam - Secondary Science and Humanities Teacher

Cassie has lived in the Wichita area since 2009, having finished her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wichita State University. During her graduation semester, she met her now-husband of almost 12 years, Levi. Cassie and family have attended Exodus Church and been involved in the community there since 2017. They have three children: Malise, Johannes, and Adelaide. She worked for several years as an RN in cardiac ICU and cardiology clinic environments, but moved to classically homeschool their children from 2020 to 2025. Cassie was a part of the Exodus Church Classical Co-op, where she taught classes ranging from music to creative writing to Christian heroes. She looks forward to teaching at St. Boniface Academy, desiring to cultivate a love of learning about how God created our amazing world and aiming, as Christians, to do all to the glory of God. If you catch Cassie during leisure time, you'll likely find her outside with her chickens and ducks on her farm.

Lindsay Longhauser- Ready Bodies, Learning Minds Coordinator & Teacher’s Assistant

Last year, Lindsay joined SBA as a substitute teacher. She has a heart for all of God’s children and can’t wait to be a part of educating this year. She studied Psychology at Friends University and is excited to utilize her training as a Bridge Educational Therapy Practitioner to facilitate the Ready Bodies, Learning Minds program. Most nights, you can find Lindsay sitting on her front porch swing with her husband, Denny. They live in the country with a multitude of farm animals and their three children: Liam, Luca, and Lottie.
